Crane periodic maintenance

Controls are carried out in accordance with the criteria specified in the "TS 10116, TS ISO 9927-1, TS ISO 4309, TS ISO 8566-5, TS ISO 12480-1" standards within the scope of lifting and/or conveying vehicles.

Cranes are work equipment that must be constantly monitored in terms of usage conditions. Unfortunately, many sad accidents occur in our country as a result of misuse of cranes and accessories/use of defective vehicles. Periodic inspection of cranes is a practice required both by safe working conditions and by legal regulations.

In accordance with our laws, Law No. 6331 "Occupational Health and Safety Law" and entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 25.04.2013 and numbered 28628. "Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment" determines the minimum conditions that must be followed in terms of health and safety regarding the use of equipment in workplaces.

Periodic preventive maintenance is necessary for cranes to operate safely and economically. Hooks and ropes, which are the most critical elements of cranes, should be reviewed daily and in case of an abnormal situation, necessary precautions should be taken.
